We warmly welcome you to the second part of "The Machol Dance Equipping Session" in Hong Kong! If you missed our first session of ‘Identity and Praise through Movement’, in April of this year, you can still join us—each session is unique yet complementary. We will spend time renewing our minds in the biblical scriptures and, through movement in Christ, immerse ourselves in the powerful presence of the Holy Spirit. Through dance, we will learn biblical truths about our identities and incarnate these truths into our physical bodies. Come join us and experience the empowerment of a deeper intimacy with God, as you worship Him with all of your being. You will sense new levels of freedom, restoration, creativity and authority to live and move more fully in your giftings and callings.

In this second visit, Sodapop and Christine Jeanville will take you deeper into the remarkable story of Machol, the man in the Bible who was known to be a worship dancer! Alongside biblical Hebraic history, we will be learning about the journey of movement and dance through the history of the nations, with a special emphasis on Asian heritage. With our eyes on both the challenges and the aspirations, we will join hearts and hands, as one Body, to partake in the wider dance of the nations.

Get ready to embrace a higher perspective of worship through movement and to receive practical tools, pearls of the knowledge of God, that will help you nurture and share your new discoveries with others. We will explore and practice together a variety of exercises, along with a series of choreographies. Each activity can be adapted to your own profile and needs, within a safe and welcoming atmosphere. Comparison with others has no place—because everyone is unique! This will be a wonderful opportunity to connect with like-minded people, from amateurs to professionals; artists, dancers, musicians, worship leaders, teachers, therapists, and all those with hearts to worship the Lord and impart worship into their own spheres of life in Hong Kong and Asia.

The Machol Dance Equipping Session is for women and men, young adults (and older ones too!) and people from all nations and walks of life who desire to be equipped, enriched and encouraged in their callings. Although this session is open to all, we extend a special invitation to artists, creatives, trained dancers, dance teachers and those who may wish to form a collective in our city and region.

We have secured a conveniently-located and beautiful venue, 10/F - 633 King’s Road, Quarry Bay, for November 1, 3 and 5, which will be open to adult registrants only. In addition, as a very special BONUS, we will have an afternoon COMMUNITY EVENT on Sunday, November 2, that will be offered at the Church of All Nations at 23 South Bay Close in Repulse Bay. This event will be open to registrants and their friends/families and to members of the CAN (Church of All Nations)/HKIS (Hong Kong International School) Community, including students, teachers, families and children.
